Southern Cornbread Dressing With Giblet Gravy

Directions

  1. Cook giblets in enough water to cover until tender.
  2. Chop and set aside.
  3. Heat broth and season.
  4. Stir a little milk gradually into flour or cornstarch until smooth.
  5. Add a little hot broth to this; stir until fairly thin and return to pot.
  6. Simmer until a nice consistency (not too thick).
  7. Add hard-boiled egg and giblets. Serve in gravy boat.
