Directions

  1. Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with foil, dull side up.
  2. Cover with layer of saltines.
  3. Cook butter and sugar together at boiling stage for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour over crackers.
  5. Bake at 400° for 7 minutes.
  6. Melt and spread one 12 ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate over baked mixture.
  7. Refrigerate overnight.
  8. Break into small pieces and store in airtight container.
